On December 26 of 2016, the OMRON Scholarship recipient Mr. Ranjan Rakesh and his adviser Prof. Tomohiro Shibata attended the scholarship award ceremony held at Kitakyushu Science and Research Park (KSRP) in Wakamatsu, Kitakyushu city. Mr. Rakesh is a doctoral student of Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering of Kyutech.

This scholarship is one of KSRP’s scholarship programs funded by OMRON Corporation which supports the idea of Prof. Shibata to educate promising international students together with companies and develop ready-to-work human resources for company’s R&D.
